This clamp is manufactured in AISI 430 with an additional matt-black surface treatment which increases its corrosion resistance. Thanks to the surface treatment, this clamp can be mounted discreetly in any application, making it a favourite in automotive or motorcycle applications.
Thanks to the special design of the housing and the high-strength screw, the Mikalor W3 (Stainless Steel) Worm-Drive hose clamp has excellent performance while at the same time being very compact.
The cold-formed stamped 12mm band, smoothed on the underside, combined with the bevelled band edges protects the hose from any damage.
The Black ASFA LW3 hose clip complies fully with the DIN 3017 norm and also with the directive EU 2002/95/EC.
(*) It is recommended to apply up to 75% of the maximum values contained in the table.
(**) The maximum application pressure can vary depending on the type of hose used and the geometry of the coupling.
Important! To choose correct clamp size, control that the hose outer diameter is within the clamping range specified in table.
